SMST-12 Cleanroom Fogger for Smoke Studies

The SMST-12 Cleanroom Fogger is an entry level smoke studies fogger in a white polyethylene enclosure for use in smoke studies of fume hoods, airflow hoods and glove boxes of 2x4' and 2x6 size. The clean room smoke generator has velocity control, allowing the technician to match the fog speed to the airflow speed. It also has a visual LED display that can be seen across a small room to display fog velocity and the fog volume setting of 0 (no fog) or 1 (fog transducer turned on). The clean room fogger also has a Remote Control Wireless Key Fob that allows a technician to set this fogger up for smoke studies behind a closed wall, such as inside a small BSC; controlling he fog on/off and fog velocity as needed.

The SMST-12 Cleanroom Fogger is a portable smoke machine for use in a small airflow hood, small glove box, BSC and bio-safety cabinets; allowing the operator to set up quickly by filling with a pure water, attaching any one of 12 airflow visualization accessories, and operate directly from the touch pad controls or optionally operate from a distance using a wireless control key fob. The polyethylene enclosure is robust and can be used in almost any environment, and when combined with the optional wireless remote, the SMST-12 can support nearly any small volume smoke study in a clean room, ISO suite or industrial lab.

This cleanroom fogger for smoke studies is produced with a polyethylene enclosure and internal water cavity is more resistant to caustic airflows of fume hoods, and the white polyethylene will show less corrosion than perhaps a stainless steel fogger when doing smoke studies and airflow visualization studies in a caustic airflow. The lower cost polyethylene smoke machine is useful for small volumetric smoke studies, such as a 2x4' and 2x6' airflow hoods, fume hoods and a small glove boxes.
